Yves Saint Laurent tapped Master Perfumer Nathalie Lorson & award winning Parisian mixologist Margot Lecarpentier to work together to bring us this new formulation within the ‘Black Opium’ family. Needless to say, they outdid themselves with this euphoric scent. I absolutely love the original and didn’t think it could get any better. I stand corrected. If there is a perfect scent out there, this is it, in my opinion! The ingredients that were used and the perfect blend of notes playing out with every spray of YSL’s Black Opium Illicit Green Eau de Parfum is sheer perfection! Upon first spraying, I take in the rich, black coffee espresso along with luscious, creamy fig and the sweet indulgence of balsamic vanilla melded into this beautiful mixture of jasmine & orange blossom.
